Katrina Reconstruction Trip

Delisle, Mississippi

July 30 - August 5, 2007

The Youth Group of St Paul's is planning a summer trip to help in the continued reconstruction efforts following the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

They will be working with Mt. Zion UMC and Reverend Rosemary Williams. Rev. Rosemary is part of the inspiration for the book "Through the Eye of the Storm" by Cholene Espinoza. To see a video of Rev. Rosemary click on her picture below.

Delisle, Mississippi is a small, unincorporated town just north of Pass Christian. This is an area of the Mississippi Gulf Coast that was particularly hard hit. To see a memorial video from The Pass, click on the picture below.
